took a break from trying to understand Lacan for my literature review assignment.
Foucault was tough, but Lacan is on another level.
went to the kitchen and made eggless pancakes again.
discovered that adding extra water to the batter produces a pancake that has the texture and consistency of jeon (the korean pancake) - thin crisp outside, lightly gummy inside.
after the pancakes, wanted to make chicken schnitzel, but didn't have most of the ingredients, except for chicken breast and flour.
so i pounded the meat,
dredged it in flour,
heated olive oil,
and fried it,
with some garlic.
