woke up late again, marvelled at the increasing layer of insulation i have grown around my belly, and made myself a big breakfast:

now i'm revising my annotated bibliography to finalise it, and realised that i was confused by my use of "its".
was i using it correctly as a possessive?
so i checked - and yes it was correct.
"its" is a possessive, while "it's" is a contraction of "it is" or "it has".
the narrator's "wonky" sense of humor and enthusiasm for bling and art.
