look at this mouldy bread!
and no, i did not try to eat it.
this is Coles White Bread, bought on 11 march 2013 at 17:45.
it is supposed to be "best before" 16 march and the package was kept closed in a cupboard in the kitchen.
will think twice about buying another loaf.

Time to start a mould garden? Minimal maintenance needed.
Just make sure the spores do not illicit an allergy reaction :)
yeah and i can grow my own penicillin, right? lol
Actually, you may be surpised.
I did an experiment way back (this was when I was back in school, so it's really waaaaay back).
The 'garden' turned out to be quite colorful, with shades of orange, green and black. Try it.. Just need to leave the bread out on the window sill, and keep it moist :)
Living art installation?
nice... did you think you could have finished 6 slices of bread in one day though? EAT UP CLARA>
