it was 3 degrees last night. i kept warm with my handy felt-fabric blanket from Salvation Army.
wanted to do my assignment at the computer lab today, but alas, the doors were locked.
strange, because a few weeks ago i could access the lab on the weekend.
bugger, that means i can't continue with my 3D model - it was supposed to be a Nespresso machine but i'll change it into a honey dispenser because i've made it look like a bear. lol
my appetite has greatly increased since i've finished with the research proposal assignment.
i'm so hungry all of the time!!!!
i'll balloon into something unrecognisable if this keeps up.
today i tried this recipe to make sushi rice and it was pretty successful, although i used long-grained rice and white vinegar instead.
the method they used to cook rice was most excellent! it involves letting the washed rice sit outside for some time, and then cooking it over the stove-top.
much better than using the rice cooker because it doesn't stick to the bottom and the rice turned out nice and firm.
i'm just eating the sushi rice by itself because it's so yummy.
