Guild House had an event today - i showed up after i came home from work.
there was a koala, dingo and a least 3 snakes.
touched the koala but couldn't get a picture for all the people crowding around it. it was just in the tree eating leaves with its back towards us and ignored everything.
it had big black claws.
i petted some snakes and had one placed on my shoulders unexpectedly. they were just throwing snakes on us. lol.
it felt warm because the weather was cold, and i thought it was really quite cute and gentle.
i would like a snake for a pet actually.
we played people bingo and i didn't bothered to fill up mine.
Mr Masters, the guy went back to Africa during the holidays to find a wife. i asked if he did and he said he got married for real!
and my flatmate's Brazilian friend - handsome guy with a wee curly moustache - told us how to distinguish Brazilian guys from the crowd. they wear Brazilian football jerseys and Brazilian sandals. lol.
waited for the food - the guys were bbq-ing crocodile and kangaroo for us to try.
the white chunk was croc and the black lump was roo.
the roo tasted better than the burger i had. it was like lean beef.
and the croc was like dense chicken breast. not bad.
in other news, Major Lazer makes some amazing music.
