had another exciting encounter with an intruder in my room - this time it was a spider.
on my ceiling.
i've heard things about the spiders in Australia. oh yes.
so my first instinct was to kill it.
but then, i paused.
i thought about Charlotte's Web, which was my favorite story book.
when i held my camera phone close to it, it didn't try to jump on my face, which was reassuring.
so i decided to stand on my chair and trap it with an empty bottle.
then i released out on the back stairway.
