2 April 2013, 6.41pm - roach

Borrowed 4 wordy books on art and design from the library.
Hope to read them all.
High chance I would, since the internet is still down. :-(
Maybe this lack of wifi will be permanent. :-( :-(

Nadine potatoes make good mashed potatoes.

I went away for a while boiling the potatoes, and came back to see a skinny big cockroach on top of the stove.

Put my pot away, grabbed my insect spray, sprayed it a few times, it went behind the stove, I read the warnings on the spray can, "avoid spraying at food preparation areas", oops, saw it again, it looked drunk, luckily it was stumbling around the front door, I opened the door, waited for it to climb out, shut the door.

Cleaned the stove, continued to boil my potatoes.

Good thing it didn't turn into a flame thrower !
Be careful when you use aerosols near naked flames. If the propellant is flammable, you will have a nice flame shooting out (I'm speaking from experience)..
Anyway, you could have just put Ralph the Roach out of it's misery by simply stepping on it...
Looks like he may bring his tribe back for a visit...

can spraying aerosols at hot metal plate (our stove is heated metal plates, not flames) ignite it?

haha i didn't want to clean up the dead body. i will have to bleach up the kitchen floor since my duty this week.

In the spirit of Science & Adventure, try it !
    :P

Seriously, it's possible. Has happened in my office. Volatile vapors meet Hot plate = Boom !

Anyway, you don't want poison marinating your food, do you?
So do what grandma always do: squish Ralph and his clan members
