Journal no. 3

today has been windy and rainy - freakishly windy to the point where the trees are straining against the gusts and news reporters have advised people to tie down things in their yard. and it seems that someone is playing with the cloud tap as the showers have been blasting on and off the whole day.

we had free KFC chicken today :)
i haven't fully appreciated the efforts of our housing manager until someone said she really makes this place feel like a family / a home. and it's true - i bet other campus housing places don't have such good food events.

 my plate of food - i picked a big piece of spicy chicken ^^
with greens, pasta salad, couscous, bean salad, coleslaw.
glad i stayed around because after the food, there was dessert.
someone made milk tarts! the filling didn't set yet, but it was so yum.
