on wed i presented my 8 photos for the photography final assessment...
got good feedback - the lecturer liked my street photo and my self portrait. i wished i could have recorded it. she was actually raving about them. lol. and i didn't think they were that great.
for the street one, she liked this one a lot.
because below is another one...
it's very grainy because the ISO was too high :P
i liked this photo... she helped me to do some amazing photoshop magic to make the colors of the lady's dress pop. she said this was quirky. :)
and my self-portrait, she liked because it's like vulnerable looking yet defiant, and the checkered top matches my eyes... luckily i put out that photo, because i didn't think my self-portraits were good.
we also have the usual exercise after all the presentations where we stand around the table which has all our work displayed on it. everyone has to say which photos they liked best.
lecturer's praise led to some classmates choosing my photos. mwahaha. /ego boost.

Nice!
I like the second pic better. Somehow, the silhouette with the hat and the mill in the background calls out to me. It's reflects how individuals lose their identity and become anonymous in the system, and the man walking with his head bowed is on his way to perform this routine. Another tooth on the cog in the system that keep the huge machine turning.
