Wednesday's meeting with supervisor:
he made me see what i am (a researcher, interdisciplinary), what i am not (an artist), and how to put it into my writing (establish that in the first instance).
and how to meld my practice with my dissertation (will be damn difficult, but very useful and necessary).
basically, i'm not expected to be an elephant. i just have to write about elephants.
and gave me a pretty good mark for my project proposal, which was a surprise.
