G and her husband kept a boisterous beagle (above), chickens (in cage), and pet-sit a poodle and a canary.
the point of this post is that S, who has a doctorate, works in nursing and is in her early 30s, lived in a big house by herself, with her 2 cats. how awesome is that.
and her house was how i would like mine to be if i had the means - full of cute cat things and Japan related things. and she had a huge dinosaur soft toy on her king-sized bed.
wow. i can't imagine being financially independent, much less have a house. sigh.
oh, and i really enjoyed the first episode of the new season of American Idol.
it's true - the judges have great energy together and Harry Connick, Jr is extremely entertaining. :3
i dare say it's the best panel of judges and the best season yet!
