i had forgotten how fun it is to watch people until last friday.

i had ice cream at fancy departmental store. $6.90 for a double scoop.
cookie dough had no dough, just choc chips. the caramel one at the bottom was meh.

this guy (Malachy of Oisin & Malachy) and  was busking and had drawn quite a crowd. i hung around for the free music.
he shamelessly and proudly promoted his self-released cd ($10). his style is pop/rock, as showcased by his rough mash-up of U2 and Guns N Roses.

look at the amount of fans he garnered! they brought his cd and are getting him to sign it.
not me though. :/
and there was this other busking band - a duo of a girl singing + playing ukelele and guy doing... something. they covered the new slightly quirky songs, and it was chilled and rather nice.
unfortunately they didn't have many admirers.
i sat on a bench and looked at the human traffic. how interesting they are.

and the twilight food market was open in the square... i would have gotten some bbq meats if i wasn't that cheap. haha.
