Journal no. 3

 flatmate A invited me to her friend's belly dance presentation. i didn't give a reply when she asked, but when she knocked on my door when she was ready to go out, i decided to go along.
and it was a good thing too - it was very interesting!

 first of all, her friend is a mature student who lives on a hill called Roleystone near Gosnells!
posh! hills are rare in Perth.
 your ears pop when she drives up the hill. and she sees kangaroos and emus in her neighbourhood.
 the view from her property.

 she invited a lot of her friends and neighbours who brought along finger food.
 that's her son. her daughter was the MC who sang as well.

 for the final dance, she dragged us up to dance as well. lol
on the right is the kitchen and the left is the dining area.
she introduced us to her friends and we had food, wine and conversations...
it was very pleasant and grown-up.
her neighbour's daughter that traveled alone in Europe for 6 weeks and said that she liked Vienna a lot... jealous! 
then another of her mature student friends drove us home... that couple had met in Vancouver and lived in Silicon Valley and Melbourne before coming to Perth to be closer to their son.
it was a very nice evening indeed.
